“Monthly Retwists help keep your locs separated and healthy.”
DIDJA KNOW that retwists should NOT be tight but neat?
What is a Retwist?
A retwist is basically maintenance on the root of your locs in a periodic time frame. The locs shaft is palm rolled while the root and new growth is neatly twisted in order to keep separate from surrounding locs. This is not interlocking maintenance, that is a different method.
Who is it for?
Mostly for persons with kinky and/or coarse hair. Silky/wavy textures can get a retwist but caution is used since it may unravel over a shorter time period.
Why get it?
Retwisting prevents further maintenance issues. Repair is often needed because the periodic maintenance is neglected.

Maintenance
Your Locs should be retwisted once a month to every 6 weeks in most cases. We usually retwist in a manner that prolongs the style. If Palm Roll Retwist last only a week on your hair, you may want to consider Interlocking which lasts up to a month as a retwist method. Professional washing can be done during this period and is recommended. Also, light repairs such as those on thinning hair or broken off locs can be performed along with the retwist.
