What is Interlocking?
Interlocking is a maintenance technique in which the end of the loc is pulled through the root to tighten the new growth to the scalp. This technique can be achieved with a tool or with fingers; and it is commonly used in the Sisterlocks™ and micro locs hair locking systems
Who is it for?
For all hair textures. Interlocking is a technique that can be used to start and maintain any texture of hair because it prevents the hair from unraveling and encourages the hair to stay in place to begin the locking process.
Why get it?
If your hair is hard to loc, silky, straight, fine or a texture where your hair constantly unravel with coils or standard starter locs, then this may be an option.

Interlocking Maintenance
Your Locs should be interlocked every 2 months on average, less or more depending on your growth rate. Interlocking in a manner that prolongs the style without being too tight. If Palm Roll Retwist last only a week on your hair, you may want to consider Interlocking which lasts up to 2 months as a retwist method. Professional washing can be done during this period.
What is service?
Hair must be at least 1 inch in length or longer.
Permed hair must be removed before locking.
Also, light repairs such as those on thinning hair or broken off locs can be performed along with the retwist.

Interlocked Locs & Maintenance
Interlocked Locs are locked in the same day and is irreversible. Interlocked locs are usually for textures that have difficulty locking. Your hair should be at least 3 inches or more all around to be eligible for interlocked locs installation.
